I'm running 4.56 on 33" tires. It made a big difference from the 3.73 factory gears. Back when I did the math the 4.10 ratio was closest to factory with 33" and 4.56 was for 35". Anything bigger needed 4.88 gears.

I'm V6 AT and I chose 4.56 gears with my 33's because I knew I'd be heavy with skids, sliders, bumpers, and eventually topper. My RPMS run high (2,600-2,700) at 75mph due to being over geared. However, I get more torque to the wheels this way.

But I've got room to grow into 35's some day!

I have the 255/80/17 ST maxx and had a little rub (OME 885x w/ 5100 and top plate spacer) but threw on 1.25 BORA wheel spacers and it clears fine. I noticed less acceleration and a little lower MPG but I wasn't to worried. The ST maxx are great on and off road and way quieter than I thought they would be. Having a good tire off road makes a world of difference. There is an entire thread devoted to ST maxx check it out. I reviewed a lot of tires and read a lot of forums and reviews before I purchased. Let me know if you have questions. I have had them now for over 25,000 miles and still grab great and lots of life.

Anyone in here interested in going in with me on a 129ltr (34GAL) replacement fuel tank to suit the 2005-2015 model Toyota Tacoma Dual cab short bed? I'm tired of filling up all the time.
$1200.00 AUD + roughly 900$ (You can look it up on a currency calculator)
    Part number TTACDCR.

Response to my shipping inquiry below -
The nearest inland port to you is in Richmond.
Sea freight to Port of Richmond is $550 AUD. Please be aware of the following:
    International buyers--PLEASE CAREFULLY NOTE:

    a) Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping and handling. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.
    b) Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

If you were to buy a quantity of two or more we could offer you a better price on the tanks.
FYI these tanks measure less than ½ a cubic meter. Sea freight has a minimum 1 cubic meter rate, so therefore you could actually get two shipped for the price of one. Something to think about if you have a friend with a Tacoma too

@dapetik I'm really intrigued, maybe if we could do a few and spread the cost a little more!?

That would be well over 500 mpt:D

@Truggin are you still planning on @Mobtown Offroad sliders group buy?
I'm still in and would like to go out and see the shop to pick them up.

I dated a girl that went to VCU and was up there everyweekend for 4 years (she also didn't graduate hahaha)

During that time, my truck was hit 10+ times, broken into twice, and spray painted once. I was not a fan of all the best foot artsy hippies that walked around.

    Meh.

I never really ventured too far from VCU, so I am sure Richmond has some nice areas, but since I work for a commercial imagery company, I pulled photos from the location where my truck was and it was definitely not in a good area.

But, all of that being said, I got my truck back without a scratch on it, the guys from Richmond really took great care of it, AND they even washed it for me since they heard how pissed I was.

I went up there to see an old Army buddy this weekend in Severn, and I will say, most of the areas in MD don't look as nice as NOVA

You take for granted places like Plaza Azteka, Chik fil a, and good water pressure until you move to Hawaii..... SOOOOO glad to have all that back.

And sorry, I haven't really been around too much lately, we don't have internet yet (we get it hooked up later today) so I'm doing all this from my phone.

Sooner than you know! I'm off Thursday and Friday because I'll be in Texas.

My newer boss is becoming so micro managing it's ridiculous. And she dances around her point instead of telling me what she wants on certain things. Super annoying, I graduate school in Jan '18, so then I can move on

Ah damn man I HATE that shit. I had a few that were like that...its like they keep their personal entitlement if they keep the "mystery" of their thoughts. Instead if they just revealed it the "common joe" could understand and move on without her continued "guidance." Sometimes depending on the person, I will request a moment with them and explain how why they need to be that micro managing...is it a trust thing, or do they really fear the capabilities of their employees? If neither is an issue, then respectfully ease off and let me do the job I was expected without constant input.

I know I say this shit, but its not that easy to do in many situations due to Butt-hurtitis.

Exactly, and idk how to say that without coming off as an ass. Also, not that I think she would, but I don't want some sexist claim being thrown my way way for speaking up.

Very true man...sad part is many of these individuals that have maintained this philosophy are somewhat aware of how much of an ass it makes them. Because of this, many are resistant to any constructive thoughts and some even constantly fear and search for objection to their mentalities. It helps having a neutral respected third party to vouch for your perspective, which I assume is probably not available. You would think management would be able to "manage," but sometimes they can do anything but.

It was the absolute worst. Haha

That blows. What do you do for work?

Same. I have been off for a little while while I coordinated the move, and I start back up in my new position tomorrow morning... but I was informed that they don't have a lot of my stuff transferred over just yet so I'll be babysitting a desk for a bit until all the admin / red tape stuff gets done.
