Decided to dig out my speakers this afternoon. Sadly one of my old front speakers has a tare in the rubber. But I have another pair of JL XRs that were in the rear of my last few vehicles with the center mounted tweeter. I won't power it up and use the crossovers to power tweeters in the stock location.

Good bye shinny grill I dipped it and the gray is not far off from the gray plastics of the lower bumper.

Not really a truck upgrade but the tools that work on the truck have a new home. Picked up a 12x24 building to replace a very rusty and leaking metal shed. Now I can work on the truck inside but not be in the house.

My tool box could use a few Toyota decals now.

A year in and still haven't done a whole hell of a lot to it.

I have been working an idea in my head and now in solid works for a different style bed brace. I tow a fair amount and really don't want to leave ball in the hitch all the time or have it rolling around the bed/cab.

This is what I have come up with as a concept so far.

bed brace with a place to mount standard 2 inch hitch parts.

Toyota really did not care much for the audio quality on these trucks which is kind of expected but they could always use a bit more so awesome man!. good lookin truck!

Nice bike I want a new bike so bad but cant justify dropping 3 G's on a bike at the moment. but I rock my 2009 Giant Trance X3 like it was a new bike just not quite as cool. Bikes are frustrating because there is always new tech and the deprecate like crazy. Once the trance dies it will get me a new one!:D

I know the feeling. I picked this one up in August for $900. I would have loved a brand new bike but this one had no miles and fully serviced ready to go. My other bike is a 2014 Trek Crossrip set up as a either a road bike or more often a gravel road explorer with nice knobby tires.

    This arrived today

MRBP turn down exhaust. Will install tonight and finally have a better sounding truck. This is the longest I have gone on a stock exhaust on any vehicle I've owned other then my POS Grand Cherokee.

Exhaust installed and surprisingly quiet off idle and around town with very little drone on the highway but a nice sound on the gas.

The Tacoma got a new driveway friend Saturday. Wife traded her 2012 Impreza Sport for a 2017 Forester XT, yeah the one with the turbo.

Been having too much fun with the wife's car I have been neglecting the Tacoma. Though it got a good amount of love this weekend prepping to see family in NY and CT for thanksgiving. Going to be moving a few tools back from my parents that we didn't want in the Forester so the truck gets to go on a 2,000 mile road trip.

Road trip went well. Averaged roughly 20 mpg for the trip though I need to work on some better gear organization in the cab so we can access drinks and snacks better. Also need to do something about the cup holders they really suck for Yeti type cups.

In NY with my dad's Crawler hauler 07 Ram (he uses it to drag a 97 TJ rock crawler around the north east)

Went to see family again for Christmas and even got to deal with a bit of snow. The truck was great and now have some ideas for a molle style back panel to free up some more cab space if we keep going on long road trips with it.

Christmas morning at in CT with my wife's family
