TacomaWorld Thread for the 2017 Appalachian Toyota Round-Up at Windrock Park in Oliver Springs Tennessee over Labor Day Weekend! http://www.windrockpark.com/

I traveled all the way from Texas to attend this event and I had a blast, Windrock Park is an amazing park with tons of trails, you will not be able to do even a quarter of them over the event! The organizers of the event have it very well planned out, they did a great job of doing guided runs with people that know the park and know what peoples rigs can and cannot do.

If you do register, please put TacomaWorld.com in the section for the Club you are attending with!

I am attending this event this year as well and will be headed there starting on Wednesday.

Pretty sure @G.T. had a heck of a time at least years...

So who from Texas wants to go with me...

UPDATE 5/17/17: TacomaWorld is LEADING the Club Registrations!!! Let's keep it up TW people! If you are close to this event... you should try and attend... price may seem high for some people... but with me driving from Texas last year it was 100% worth it to me without a doubt!

    Route Plan.

I will be in Nashville on Thursday around 11am or so for lunch, if anyone is going to be around that area and wants to convoy from Nashville to the park, let me know!

Good to hear! Yea, I would like to avoid that situation as well.

I am not sure who all else was possibly there last there that had a Tacoma, so if you know anyone around there, feel free to tag them.

Was the dead Wood filled with termites? Lol

This time I'll need to check the school schedule and make sure it's not the kids first week back or they won't let me take off. But I hope I can make it!

Going to register today for it.

I did ask, and they should have a new patch for this event, well at least according to the response I got on Facebook.

I'm nervous and excited. I'm not sure what to expect since I've never done a expedition trip this long before. hoping I can buy a lift kit before the trip and have all the supplies.

I did it from Texas to TN last year. Going to do it again! It was a pretty fun trip as I had another truck with me. Not sure how this year will be though.

But windrock park is awesome! Has trails for any type of truck really.

They have some great Trail Leaders and will break you up based on what you have on your rig and your experience, so there are easy trails and then they have the hard trails. So you can decide what you want to attempt.

As far as mods... I would say have Sliders and good all terrain tires and you would be fine to have fun. If you have a lift you will be able to do more.

Windrock park is well worth the drive. Such a great wheeling place and the event is pretty awesome as well.

Bring a tank of gas and a good attitude. As previously mentioned there are organized groups and you can easily add yourself to the light trails.

So basically you're telling me I have about 7 months to get bumpers and a better lift....or maybe at least thats how I justify it to the wife, lol. Seriously though I would like to have some armor and a better lift before doing much offroading so I dont beat the truck up too much. My son will almost be 6 by then so what do you guys think about bringing him along as a co-pilot.
