Awesome. He has looked good so far. Last night played mostly with Dumo and they were solid. Once we are completely healthy, there will be guys to chew up minutes, so he should settle in nicely to the perfect role


As far as the Pens game, a bit of a disappointment. At times it looked like Dallas was never going to touch the puck, in the first 20mins. Definitely not enough rubber to the net within that time, however. In the 3rd, they came out hard. Got 2 semi-lucky goals and that 3rd goal that I'd like to see Big Murr stop. Oh well, back at it tonight. Should be a good one.

 

This looks like a carbon copy of the hit Bryan Campbell had on RJ Umberger in the 05-06 playoffs.

 

Looks clean to me.

 

I should add, it looks like this hit may even be a cleaner hit than Campbells was. Miller looks like he tries to turn away at the last moment. Unfortunate outcome for Burmistrov, but it looks like a clean hit.

Looked like a Scott Stevens hit just wrong blue line. The league will call it a head shot and suspend I'd bet.

 

First time posting in the NHL thread, in California now but a Boston fan at heart. That hit miller dished out was brutal, but he didn't charge, it was hip first, and everything was tucked. Gonna be interesting to see if the league does anything about it

 

The Bruins have called up a defensemen from Providence. Could be a trade or anticipating a suspension.

Hey, did you guys hear Iginla to the Kings?

 

Kings are 1 of the few teams that I think is a good fit for Iggy. Not a team that plays fast, his size makes sense. His shot is a nice addition. He probably wouldn't work on 1 of the top teams in the East, strictly because of play-style.

 

LOL I called that Iggy to the Kings trade weeks ago. The Sutter connection, I'm sure he pulled for that.

 

So Iggy to miss the playoffs again this year

How did Tampa benefit from that trade? They are keeping 50% of his salary, and they got two draft picks.
