Front end creaks have decreased even more so now with new inner/putter ball joints and tierods. Now I need to do the uniballs next. I have 2 replacement uniballs need to order 2 more.

I've got a punch list of stuff to do this weekend if your down. Between the seat wash and I picked up a twin arb compressor yesterday, I still need to take out the Diff drop and put my main skid on. Also want to try and permanently fix my jiggle wire at the ECU. My truck was being a cranky bitch once I got to Puyallup. Good thing I know how to temporarily fix it and what symptoms to look for.

Yeah man. I have an ARB twin install on my list as well. Lately I'm getting a higher pitched squeak on the passenger side. Sounds like a hamster wheel.

Update: dropped the preload 1/2" and the vibrations went away. Chopped a little more and no more rubs. Baby powder worked good just make sure you are upwind when you do it FYI. Anytime I hit a decent sized bump it sounds like I'm bottoming out the shock.

Oh yeah, I've got a rear axle seal to do also. Already did the extended brake lines in the front, still need to do the rears.

Go back to wherever you got your tires, and see about getting them to rebalance them. Start with the fronts for the vibrations in steering wheel.
Does the vibration go away above 45ish mph? If so, don't bother to get tires balanced, and look into carrier bearing drop, what I quoted Brady on below. Installing it should take all of about 5 minutes, as it is held in place by 2 bolts. It is nothing more than a spacer with longer bolts to lower the joint in the rear driveline, which straightens it out so the balance of it is corrected as a whole.

I hear the uniballs but it was a thump at the end of the shock. I pulled the winch for now. Had some family stuff come up.
When I had the tires off I did notice a few weights missing so I am sitting at discount getting them all balanced and rotated.

I have a Santa Cruz Heckler. I like downhill less exercise=more fun. Gonna hit Whistler sometime this summer if you're interested around July probably.

If you bottom a shock, which is unlikely if they are the right shocks, it will bump steer and jerk your steering wheel. If it is just a sharp noise, there may be either something loose, or something not in the right position after the lift reassembly. Take a look at everything you moved or removed. Had this happen before where I didn't put something back right and it would make a racket when I hit any bump bigger than about 2".
How big of a bump are you hitting to get the noise and at what speed?

Yeah I have the care kit. It always seems weird lol but it's not bad. Get bucket of water. Put the shampoo directly on stains and rub in. Add the required amount to your bucket. Then slop water on your seats with rag and scrub lol. It seems freaky but it's not bad because its wetsuit material. So you can scrubs it pretty quick, then you just sorta rinse it off by a wet rag you rinse every couple of strokes. Do that until you don't foam up as you drag the rag across the neoprene. Then dry with a towel. Easy. :anonymous:
Sexy dude! I've been meaning to buy one. I completely totaled my $300 bike in a pretty bad crash two years ago. It sucks not having a bike anymore... but I refuse to buy another cheap bike that doesn't keep up with what I ask from it.

I think that's a manufacturer deal. I saw it earlier on ARBs website.

Was 2 water drainage dips in an intersection probably going about 30-35. Seems worse when it's a rolling dip where you get the weight shift from the front end. I have icon 2.5"s. I am used to hearing the UCA noise but it was followed but a hard thud that jarred the truck but no steering jerk. The wipe marks on the shaft of the shock was like 2" from the bottom of the drivers side and the passenger side was wiped down further. The front was also dipping pretty hard. I didn't have the winch wired yet so I just dropped the bumper pulled the winch out and lowered my preload. Have to head out of town tomorrow for some family issues that came up so I didn't really have the time to keep messing with it.
