Modified my intake. Trying to get a different sound so i removed the resonator/baffles. Made a little difference but mostly at full throttle.

Cheap wire terminal kit from any auto parts store makes all wiring projects a breeze :)

I also used a mulitimeter to verify the fuses I used were only on with the ignition. If you want to add electronics to any vehicle those are very important tools that can be had for about $10 each.

Question for you. What did you use to cover the whole after you cut out the resonator? Also, Are you running an aftermarket air filter? I've been thinking about doing this and just gluing a piece of plastic then wrapping it like you did. Looks really clean. I already did this with an Afe pro dry filter. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/stock-air-box-mod.439003/

After I hacked of that tumor I sanded everything smooth, covered the hole with red gasket sealer (heat proof) and a piece of rubber gasket. Wrapped that with some heat resistant tape, Then wrapped it with header wrap and black ties. Using K&N drop in filter.

Getting ready for a Baja Race on my vintage bike so purchased a Tacoma as a chase truck..

Added a BajaRack roof rack and used two cross beams from voodoo fabrication a cut down HF ramp and a cheap wheel chock to form a removable carrier. Front wheel up means I can close the tail gate.

Also some Rotopax fuel cans and firestik and CB.. Few more mods to come.

Ridiculously easy. Once I took the time to do some figuring out.

The brackets are available from various places and just bolt to your hood hinges. Loosen one bolt at a time, attach front of bracket and retighten then attach rear bolt, that way you don't need to align anything..

Wiring under the hood was is straight forward.

There is a small rubber plug on the drivers side of firewall. I pulled that and drilled through the felt, I then drilled a small hole in the plug to make it a grommet and pulled the switch wires through.

How dd you run wires to rear?
