Getting ready to pull the trigger on a front LED light bar and rear bumper LED floods. Planning on switching from the left cubby. Does anyone have a preference on a wire harness for these? I'm assuming each circuit will need its own relay etc. Also what switches does everyone like the best. Yes, I searched but found a lot of mud water....

    Cheers.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I make all my own with a few spools of red wire and black wire. A few hours and it's all custom and clean.

If you want OEM looking switches, check out MicTuning. They're cheap and cheaply made, but look closest to OEM.

AirOnBoard and OTRATTW are other popular switches, I think the OTRATTW have the trophy for best quality.

You guys that make your own wire harness, what does the back of the switches look like as far as how to attach the wires to the switch?

I have toggle/aircraft switches for my lights. They're uninsulated male spade connectors.

I didn't see you specifically mention a relay. Depending on what you're wiring, running the full load through just the switch isn't a good idea. OP specifically asked about light bars, many light bars are 180-300w which is 15-25amps. You need to run that through a relay to be safe. You may be doing that with the Cali Raised harness, but I didn't see you mention it and couldn't find it on their site. Just want everyone to be safe...

Yes our harness comes with everything relay, fuse and switch. We just started making new ones that are pretty heavy duty!

@CaliRaisedLed Im looking at your harness on your website and the switch is a round type. Do you have a harness w/relay that has the rectangular switches?

Get the Rigid wiring harness. High quality and you won't regret it. The link is for the led bar and if you get pods, there's a different harness. Plus you can buy deutsch connectors and make any LEDs a quick plug n play with these harnesses. That's what I did with mine.

I don't understand how a company could sell a bar and no harness, I consider that to be part of the package. ARB does the same thing with the Dakars, you spend $400+ on the leaf pack and then you have to buy the bushings separately. I can understand if you want a longer harness or a different one, but every light should come with some sort of harness.
