Nice. Same bars I have on mine.
Are those OEM mud flaps? How much ground clearance do they have? I run in snow and don't want anything that is too low. Thanks in advance

How far below the frame do they sit and how far out from the side of the truck? Do you have any pictures from straight down the side of your truck to show how far they stick out? I'm trying to decide between these and the cast aluminum running boards.

Will take one tomorrow, but they barely extend beyond the frame and are relatively high and extend just past the widest part of the door (preventing door dings)

I like these, do they line up well to the door opening, any problem with scraping your legs getting in/out?

I have the Steelcase 4" nerf bars. I chose the stainless steel option, with stainless, rocker panel mounting brackets. These are available through Auto Anything, a great supplier of quality parts at highly competitive prices. These great looking accessories were $263, including shipping and handling (the dealer wanted $450, plus taxes and installation). By the way, these bolt-on bars can be installed by a total novice, and are very sturdy. Also, do not expect most of these bars to guard against dings, unless you are parked next to the average height sedan. Even slightly elevated vehicle doors will pass right over the top of them. Also, at 6'1", I find them to be a bit of an annoyance for my typical use, and my pant legs tend to rub against them, when entering/exiting the vehicle. However, for shorter drivers, they are a very stylish addition, and very nicely block the view of the pinch welds. Take a look at the attached photo, and see what you think. Hope this helps. I just ordered a set of OEM black double cab running boards from the 2nd Gen. They supposedly fit 3rd Gens and look very similar to @gpb 's except that they have a black plastic shell. I personally think gpb's are the best option, but I couldn't justify spending twice as much for a similar look. My main concern was keeping shit off the paint and helping to prevent door dings. Don't really care how the function as steps.

Guess I should have said Pics on your 3rd Gen when you get them installed...

I like the OEM 3rd Gen but I am also cheap and at $600 would just get sliders at $300ish its more reasonable so I'd be interested to see how the 2nd Gens look/fit

Says they should be here next week. Once they're in I'll post pics up. Really hoping they look good. I've been shopping since I got the truck in December. I wanted black, don't like tube steps and kept getting drawn to the OEM 3rd gen boards, but couldn't swallow the price tag. Kept looking on here for someone selling them without luck. Several of the Amazon reviews say they fit and look good on the 3rd gen...hoping I agree.

Can't really get a good picture that shows you straight down the side b/c my mudguards block them. They stick out about 4 inches from the frame - just enough to be wider than the widest part of the door. They are nearly flush with the lowest part of the frame and thus extend as far from the rocker panel as the frame does. Really enjoying them though, esp. without having a ton of drop they are functional enough to get to the roof easily while providing a decent step in. Bought them unsure whether I'd end up returning them, but glad I bought and they will probably stay on there for as many years as I keep the Taco.

Looked at your posts for a picture of your SR. AC 4x4, Nice truck. These should look good on it. Post a pic or two when you get them mounted.
