Will the Firestone Ride Rite 2407 fit on a 2017 Tacoma Sport 2x4? Has anyone successfully installed these air springs on a 2017?

Got them on my 2017 Pro. I did make a support for the bracket since it was made for the 2-leaf pack were as the 3rdgens are 3-piece. I'll take a picture of what I'm talking about in the morning.

Thanks perkj. I look forward to your picture and any advice on how to make any necessary installation adjustments for the gen 3 design changes. I had Ride Rites installed on my 2008 Tacoma back in 2011, and they worked wonderfully for towing my 3000 lb Casita camper.

I installed a set on my 17 pro last night. Let us know what you did perkj, I didn't have any issues with the brackets and I even have an AAL on my rear leaf pack but maybe there's something I missed. The "L" part of the bracket where it's cut out doesn't touch the axle if that's what you're referring to. I wasn't sure how important that was but didn't have time to deal with it last night.

The only problem I had was the lower bracket acorn bolts were lousy, nuts were very difficult to thread on, and one bolt broke so I went and bought some stainless 3/8" x 3.5" bolts and nylon nuts to replace them with. Other than that install was pretty straight forward. I also did Daystar spring cups since I plan to do some wheeling with the rig instead of attaching the bags to the bottom brackets. Aired at 5lb for now, planning to install my Viair pressure regulator tonight so I can change pressure more easily (tied into my on board air system).

I just now talked with a Firestone Ride Rite technical assistance person who said the for my 2017 Tacoma Sport 2WD I need to order the 2410, not the 2407. Which Ride Rite model did you folks install? I think he said the 2407 is correct for a 4WD.

I have airbags on my mine with KINGS, AAL 1.5 lift, overload leaf removed and cradles in rear. Love the ride and awesome offroad, keeps it smooth when unloaded and can add air when carrying a load and adjust as needed depending on weight or a trailer. Biggest thing to keep it smooth offroad and not tear a bag is the cradles, it will not limit flex or pull on bag when dropped out.

Here is the picture I promised. As you'll see I cut down two metal stock/bars I had laying around the house and stacked them to form a base that I then slide under the Rite RIte bracket on the axle. I then used two SS Hose Clamps (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0182THC0Q/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to hold the metal pieces in place...trust me with those two hose clamps those pieces of metal stock don't move. The key is to find some metal stock that gets a nice tight fit between the axle and the bracket.

The alternative is to use the Firestone 2506 Axle Bracket Extension Kit (https://www.etrailer.com/Vehicle-Suspension/Firestone/F2506.html) , cut it down and shape it for the 3 leaf pack, and then drill the holes to mount it to the bracket. I felt my solution was much easier and cheaper.

On a 3 leaf pack or larger that Firestone Rite Rite bracket will eventually bend without it being supported in someway on the axle as it was intended to. Why Firestone hasn't corrected this is beyond me as even the Gen2s switch to a 3 leaf pack mid production....just lazy I guess. However they point you to the axle bracket extension kit as the solution which I guess makes more money for them.

you're right the 2410 is needed for the 2WD. 2407 is for the 4WD. I believe you still still need to add some type of support to the bracket as I did above.

Yes, this is what I was referring to and corrected. That bracket needs support in some way.

The Daystar bag cradle puts too much lift on the rear which a stock suspension...even on the Pro. I initially had these installed but even at full deflate on the bags the truck would sit raked forward (lifted in the back). Those cradles are intended for lifts only. I've read a number of threads where guys run the bags without the bolt in the bottom when they go off roading to allow the flex to happen in the same way as running those cradles (just without the cradle) and have had no issues. Some even run this way all the time. I intend to do when I take the truck off road or need to lift it on a lift that drops the axles as it take less than a minute to remove/install the lower bag bolt on each side.

Is the going price for these kits right around 365? I never did one on my 08 but thinking about it since I tow a boat occasionally and the tongue weight is pretty significant.

It does add a little lift in the back, even with just 5lb of air in it but I've got some Toytec spacers on the front already so while yes it is raked, it isn't as bad as it would be if the front was completely stock. Down the road I'll probably end up going with more lift in the front anyway, probably an adjustable coil over. At least the back will be GTG. Good info though for others with stock front suspension, I would agree that the truck with the cradles would have an awkward rake to it. I didn't find this info anywhere when I was researching. I would have skipped the cradles probably if alot of people said they ran fine without them but oh well.

Got my set from AutoAnything for $270.47 with CA tax and shipped. It was during one of their Christmas coupon offers and then I used their online chat to get even a few more dollars knocked off.

Thanks fellows for all the advice. I talked with the Firestone Ride Rite tech guy again and he says that he was wrong when he told me to order the 2410 kit. Says I definitely need the 2407. It should arrive on Tuesday and will be installed by a pro mechanic on Friday. I will give him the print-out of your fix perkj.

None of these pics are of mine, just for reference. I run Firestone bags, I think they are more durable than airlift or daystar.
