Also: Hey all, I was at a wedding 2 weekends ago in San Diego. Saw the USS Midway while I was down there (cousins wanted to see the whole thing, took 7 hours, I'm done with boats for the rest of the year), a really cool scale model/machinist museum, and a bunch of people panicking over 1.5 inches of rain (no joke, businesses were closing early). It's taken me a bit to get caught up here due to work.

There are Navy bases in Everett and Smokey Point, which is going to the north end compared to Puyallup area. That can open up Lake Stevens, Everett, Marysville, Arlington, Stanwood, Smokey Point.

Saw something interesting in Eugene. A Chevy driving around with a flesh colored dildo attached (I'm assuming glued) to the rear bumper. I knew folks in Eugene were special, but didnt expect to see a dildo flopping around while I was driving down the road.

A buddy of mine recently bought a gen 1 Dodge Cummins off craigslist. I gave him a ride over to the guys house, seems like a pretty normal dude, the deal is made and off we go. I'm following him as the tail lights don't work. We get just to the edge of town and there is a cop sitting there and as soon as we pass his lights come on. We both pull over, my buddy explains he just bought the truck 10 blocks ago, hands over license and title. Cop wants to see the registration. He opens the glove box for the first time and finds a black dong the size of my arm inside. Cop doesn't even blink, takes paperwork back to car. I assume he is on the radio telling the story as it takes a while. Meanwhile, by buddy gets out and starts looking behind seat for other treasures. I get out and stand in front of my rig. Buddy throws the dong in a perfect flubbery spiral to me. I return it. This goes back and forth for at least five minutes, and we're both laughing so hard we're crying. Cop returns with papers and a stern warning for no insurance and doesn't even crack a smile. Oregon cops must see some weird shit for that to not even register on the comedy scale.

Yo dudes, im going on a week long road trip through oregon to try to capture as much drone footage and photography as I can pack in. I've poured over all the guides on the web, but im more interested in the secret spots that arent on all those lists. If anyone has any cool places I should hit, let me know. Thanks in advance!

Imnaha, Or. Specifically dug bar on the Snake River. Mountain Goats, Bighorn, Wolves, Elk, Deer, etc. Along the way you will drive by little Switzerland (Wallowa mtns) and see the most awe inspiring terrain in the state, that nobody knows about. Another good one is Strawberry Mt near Prairie City, but you will wear out a pair of snow shoes getting there this time of year. The Steens are pretty cool too. The stuff on the wet side of the state is just a tourist trap, the free side of the state is where it's at. https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/wallowa-whitman/recarea/?recid=51901

Edit: Malheur cave is another good one. Creepy as clowns, but interesting.

If you are in the NE, Boardman is good for gas. They have the cheapest stations. From i84, take exit 164, shell is south of freeway, Sinclair (Dino station) and chevron north of freeway. Otherwise this is a good area to avoid. There are days when boardman smells like rotten, salty sea air, and not in a good way.

It's pretty much a highway, you can drive 55mph on most of it. Like I've seen lowered honda's on it. Lots of traffic in the summer months, RV's, etc. It is very scenic if you've never been there, and Jubilee lake is very family friendly. Last time I was there I would guess there were at least 250 children (there were several school busses, so maybe it was a field trip/church thing, I dunno).

Taken on one of the side roads. I was searching for a downed aircraft that is up there somewhere.
