Well, I traded in my 2016 DCLB Sport for a 2017 DCSB OffRoad. Now that I'm happy with my base vehicle, it's time to start my build thread. (No better feeling that parts on order :) )

Why I traded up, and some footage of the day I got the new rig:

Are you by chance on the island? Thought I saw this on display at the YYJ Tacoma lot.

Yup - I'm Victoria. Work has me on the road for most of BC & YK, but this is home base.

    I'll DM my cell.

There was, just slightly on the plastic fender lining. But that was easily taken care of. No rubbing on UCA or CM. Just made a video about it if you didn't see it.
    :)

You were the smart one! But I never knew I would have gone this route. At the time, I got the sport 'cause I wanted the DCLB. If only I knew back then what I know right now!
I know I shouldn't complain, being on this side of the North, but we've had a pretty shitty winter over here too. You guys were warmer than us for a bit there...(not so much now lol):rain:

Oh yeah. This last weekend was a good reminder of that! I'm still contemplating who I'm going to go with for my armour.

I have the RCI as they were the easiest to get here in Toronto. But no complaints. Great build quality

Thanks for this video on tire fitting. The video really does a much better job than word-of-mouth opinions about tire fitment. I have a TRD pro with the same wheels you are using and I'm super happy to see that these tires fit w/very minimal fender modifications. Sounds like a heat gun is all I need, right?

I'm also going to be doing a dif breather mod but having it end in the cargo compartment.

    Keep the videos coming!

Thanks! Yes, Just push in the front of the fender well, and the small bump on the back side and you will be all good to go. I cut the small bit of the fender flare at the back that protruded, but I never actually saw any rub marks on it. It just stuck out funny.
I'll be waiting for the pictures! :D

The only reason I didn't route my breather to the cargo box, is because I've found a lot of dirt and water comes it through its holes. So I pressure wash in them constantly. I'm going to find away to seal them tho.

Let me know how everything works out!

Sub'd! Nice build bud. Got my DCSB OR about a month ago. Now saving for some simple upgrades. I'm out in Langley. Do you have any recommendations for places to go for parts? Sliders etc.
