This item is like a catch can ,but with actual baffling and an easy drain built in. Trust me, I've wasted $100 before on various eBay catch cans before installing this.

I had this in my old build and no longer can use it due to the venting setup on my new diesel swap. This is perfect for putting inline on your PCV hose or valve cover hose to prevent oil from gumming up the intake manifold and valvetrain.

    $110 shipped

Interesting, would a supercharged build see any benefit from this or is it more for a turbo setup?

All engines produce blowby gasses supercharged: turbocharged, no-charged, twin-charged, over-charged, etc. So yes it benefits any engine by keeping blow-by oil and gasses out of the intake. If you've heard of people putting catch cans on engines, this is similar, but works better.

Ah okay, I'm familiar with a catch can. I'll do some homework on it. Thanks!

    1) buy
    2) install
    3) quit ruining your engine by making it breath oil vapor.

I guess the idea of catch cans/ engine venting isn't very well-known in the Toyota world like it is in the boosted/performance car world, where EVERYONE runs a catch can or air oil separator on their motors. It's like a required piece of hardware if you're going for high power and longevity. Read: "avoid engine knock due to oil injestion"

The reason I went with this one is that is compact and not a piece of @#%$ hardware-wise. It has actual baffling that condenses the oil vapor, rather than a useless empty chamber like all the eBay cans.

I'm a mechanical engineer in the OEM engine industry, and I picked this one over all the other options due to the reasons discussed.

    Picture of internal baffling:
