Ok as for the camshafts, we aren’t doing any of the camshafts as of now. There is a lot of research that we are still working on with that. We still have another year or two if we even get them to work right.

A way to get some low end power on that will be a Header though if you do not have one of those yet.

Also the supercharger but that is about it.

Custom set it is then.

Basically like the guy who did the mod necessary to be able to run the UCON on an '09+. You have to be resourceful.

 

Wouldn't the Tooter intake manifold spacer bringing the peak torque down to more useful rpm range effectively give you a sense of having more torque? It hasn't done that for me yet.....since it isn't on the truck yet. Damn I need to knock out some projects laying around.

 

Got any idea who to talk to about that?

 

Being the first one with a cammed 2tr would be cool plus a cam to move the power down low and a regear together will be absolutely awesome offroad.

Plus I don't like boost for off road vehicles. Just my own opinion.

LCE is currently working with a member here, for upgrading the 2TR's valve train, as well as to make a turbo manifold. Since the 2TR has the 3RZ's short block, they will be building that as well, without complication. His engine should put out massive gobs of power!

 

I have my 2tr block at LCE right now. We talked about cams, and they said it shouldn't be a problem. I am going full stage 5 everything, and the Idea is that LCE will be releasing a production turbo kit for entry level and up.

Okay so LCE is making a performance cam for the 2tr??? I have a supercharged 2tr that im wanting to cam. Pushing a little over 20psi on the URD supercharger kit right now. Im trying to get a set of Arias Pistons and Powder rods to handle the boost. Has anyone been able to get ARP bolts for this motor? I need the whole shabang.

 

Coming soon! ARP is coming soon too. As well as a cometic head gasket. I'll keep everyone in the loop as soon as I have solutions!

 

I need these things in my life. I'm shooting for 500 rwhp on this 4 banger. I have it to 300rwhp, 400rwhp should be possible with pistons, rods and a tune. then cam and spray may get me the rest of the way.
