I used them and don't have complaints. Had guys spinning on them and no issues. We didn't use them to hard though, and we used them in snow...thats as much as I used them since I got them. They are nice to have though. Save time instead of hooking up a strap or a winch line.

Showing up as $440CAD including taxes and shipping to BC. Not bad at all. I bough my MaxTrax for $300USD, or $394CAD shipped to Blaine, WA.

An extra $46 to buy in Canada is a good deal.

Just ordered these: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/172277705328 Works out to $206 including shipping and taxes. The board seems to have large lugs which should hook into the tire tread better. We'll see. :)

Another Amazon listing (doesn't ship to Canada) shows an orange version with a close-up of the top surface:

They finally came today. Material is thinner than I expected, which may or may not be a good thing lol. We'll find out soon. :D

The boards stack pretty well and have round holes for straps or hanging on walls. Lugs in the middle are about 1.75" deep.

They stack a lot flatter. They also appear to be pretty sturdy when stacked which is nice. The maxatrax don't stack well at all, so they take up a lot of room and I don't feel too comfortable about stacking them on the roof. Would have to put them beside each other which takes up a lot of room.

The maxtraxs stack great. The cheaper maxatrax version do not. I have the cheaper version which I don't feel comfortable stacking on the roof.

Edit:been saying maxatrax instead of Maxsa traxs....

@KenLyns added your purchase to the front page to help anyone else down the road. Hope that's cool.
