The wheeler's front and rear bumpstops worked like a charm...butter smooth on impact... worth every penny for this upgrade

I'm a big fan of superbumps. Been running them in the front and rear for a long time.

Did those come from us or did they ship direct from All-Pro?

They were direct from all-pro. Not a big issue, I don't mind having to thread them. I just want to make sure I have the right threading. Do you know the specs on the hardware you use for your bumpstops?

Anyone know if the All-Pro flip kit plates threading issue has been resolved, or is it just random quality control failure on All-Pro's part?

I have seen most people mount their bump stops to the flip kit itself, but I have also seen a few people mount them to the frame above the leaf springs. What is the advantage between the two different mounting points?

Also, I'm looking at buying the energy suspension bump stops from toytec, anyone have any experience with these? Good or Bad?

    Thanks Fellas

Just got icon hydraulic bump kit. They have a special plate for ubolt flip kit. I cant even compare them to timbrens...timbrens are for people who want airbags or have retarded heavy load outs

Mine went on like butter. No issues. Did not have to "lube" the bolts/nuts as I've seen someone else say they had to...

I installed the Superbumps too and so far they seem great...really plushes out those moments when you bottom out.

I've been thinking about moving my bumpstops to the frame, but I need to build new upper shock mounts first.

Moving the bumpstops to the frame should give you more compression travel, as the standoff Wheeler's uses is eliminated. However, you must ensure that your u-bolts won't hit the frame and the shocks can take the added uptravel. And, make sure the tires clear.

I bought the Toytec u-bolt flip kit and the energy suspension bump stop. I ended up going with Wheeler's super bumps all the way around because I read good things about them. Still slowly piecing my lift together so I haven't put anything on yet. Guess I'm really no help but if you decide to go with the energy suspension ones I have a brand new set for sale.

A u bolt kit usually has longer bolts as not many people do it to a stock leaf pack.
