But to be honest we all make mistakes..I just hope he fixes my problem soon...I'm a little disappointed but shit happens...If i was to do it over again would i purchase from him? Of course i would as long as he takes care me...When i opened the box and saw the quality of the roof rack i was i was amazed...So if you're hesitant on purchasing the roof rack but like design and look of the prinsu rack just go for it...I'm sure you'll like it...But just remember we are all human and we make mistakes..I'm sure Zach will fix my problem..it's ok bro.jpg

I'm not saying you are not justified. Not at all. I'm saying I'm disappointed if this is how it is. He has been around long enough to find a vendor to meet demands.

Shit happens and a ball can get dropped. But to join a forum just to bitch and bash a small company's reputation is shitty. Ive had great response from Zach and personally know atleast another dozen members that are happy with him. Great product, it's really solid and nothing out there like it. Don't be afraid to deal with him he's a great guy and something fell through the cracks. Everyone has done this. Saying the fan boys will take his side is true to an extent but your a fanboy since you loved the product so much to buy it and continue to wait. Why not just get another rack if you hate the company so much. Not your only course of action bashing a company. Multiple avenues for communication. Sucks you had to buy extra bolts but if it's that big a deal sell the cute FJ and use that money for hardware. No vendor on here especially small time company's should be bashed unless they refuse to help you or are not willing to resolve the problem. We are a small community and these guys thrive on our business and they do their best to throw out a great product to make a living.

I am thankful for the OP making this thread. It has given me a lot of insight about Prinsu and their service. It seems he is in quite high demand and sometimes things get missed in the order. I know if I order a rack, there is a chance everything may not be there. That is ok though because as this thread shows, Zach seems to be very proactive to correct any discrepancies with his customers.

I can take comfort in knowing when I am ready, I will order a prinsu!

I too, would buy again, as long as I didn't need it quickly. Don't expect Amazon prime, don't even expect snail mail, but do expect a quality product...and Zach provides a great product. I found a gray hair in my beard waiting on it, but hey that's my problem right?

I ordered mine dispite all the negitive comments I've read. I don't mind the wait as he is upfront in saying it'll be awhile. And it sounds like no matter what he will make it right. I have yet to read where he didn't. It's the best looking rack I've found. And built right, at least from what I have seen. But everyone had the right to be upset when things go wrong. If I mess something up I fully expect a customer to be upset. But I also expect the customer to let me make it right.
    Just my thoughts.

Yes SHIT HAPPENS, and thats why the original post was made. Folks want the product because it is good, still doesn't mean they need to shut up about not receiving their stuff. Its not the company folks are hating on, folks are discussing the lack of communication, and by starting this thread the OP got taken care of, he used another form of communication to get his needs met. To tell some one to sell their vehicle just doesn't make sense in this conversation (unless I missed something). And I don't think the OP bashed the company, although based on your statement of not willing to help, sounds like the OP felt that way at first. I said it before and I will say it again, I don't blame anyone for stirring shit up when they are not in the communication loop about where the product they spent money on is. Big or small company, every one is in it to make a living, and the customers are what keep your paychecks flowing.

I dont think anyone disagrees that the original poster shouldn't have concerns when he couldnt get resolution after several tries. What he got bashed for (and I was one of them) is that it was for an FJ. He posted the problemin the FJ forum and Zach responded there to his issue. The OP opened an account here at TacomaWorld just to bash the vendor in the Tacoma forums about a problem on his FJ rack (and probably other forums) Customer is justified being unhappy and posting on a forum to get the vendor's attention as a last resort. Posting all over multiple forums that aren't directly applicable and aren't used by the OP is where I think it became a dick move.

And yep @FJallday that's an important bracket. I forgot the back of the rack has the separate bracket (even though I could have gone out in the garage and looked at my rack to see what bracket you are talking about). I'm glad Zach is going to get it resolved quickly for you. When I got my box everything was well packed, but UPS still managed to tear a big hole in the box and mangle the outside. Initially I was concerned if some hardware fell out. Fortunately nothing was lost or bent by UPS (and it only shipped from Utah to Denver) not sure what they did with it to damage the box as bad as they did.

Hope you enjoy your rack. I ended up lowering the front fairing by a good inch (drilling an extra hole on each side). I also used the 80/20 tslot covers to reduce the vibration that I was getting at certain speeds (like a giant tuning fork). You might not have that issue, but figured I would throw that out there. T slot strips also keep some of the debris out of the slots.
