anyone have any feedback for purchases on here with there Tacoma from carid.com?

I am contemplating purchasing some of the running boards off here, I don't do any off-roading usually (dirt roads would be the extent of it) and it would be more of a cosmetic purchase. I am probably looking at just a simple bolt on type, and easy to install (as I am a newb) at these things.

Pictures are always welcome, if you have any.

    Thanks guys

Anything you can find on CariD you can find elsewhere for less and/or free shipping. It's not a bad site to shop, but not a good site to buy. When you find something you want on there, just google/ebay/Amazon whatever it is.

those look nice, I personally am not into the chrome look for mine. However, I will admit that the chrome looks nice when you leave the rims chrome and whatnot (parts surrounding it)

im not sure if I want to go with more of the round extended running board style that you have there, or more of a 'no gap' to the rocker panel look.... its a tough call. Especially when I see how those look.

I like the look of this, my Tacoma is the same color as the one in photo. (black rims to be added though)

I want black rims, but being picky about those... These nerf bars are shiny black, and would have liked them to be flat black for a more subdued look

I agree, was a tough call to go with these, as I didn't really want to add anything... But the spousal unit's height demanded an intervention ;)

I think I am leaning towards the 5'' nerf bars produced by Lund, priced around 310 to my door from Amazon with no drilling.

auto anything isn't an option for me as I am In Canada and they wont ship there (I talked to a colleague that works there)... I would go with the black option though.
