    We're not sure what it is, but it's a parasitic draw. Leaning toward alternator but who the fuck knows. We trickle charged the battery overnight and got her started this morning. The battery lasted 3 to 4 minutes before dying completely. That's a huge ass draw.

    I'm looking forward to finding out what it actually is. It's frustrating the hell outta me and I just want her fixed and all better again!

    I get that. You get what you pay for, and don't settle for cheap.

    But here's the thing: a LOT of people are moving away from CB because you're restricted to 4W (12W on SSB). So the best you're going to do is talk to someone MAYBE 2 miles down the road. You can spend the same amount of money on a good HAM radio that transmitts anywhere from 10-100W and talk to people all over the State (sometimes across the country).
