No, I saw a thread on this, as well. Maybe like 1/3 of those who voted said they pulled right, and just about everyone else said they were just fine. The GC was mildly offended about this allegation, explained to me why this couldn't be a thing, and we moved on. I saved the thread in my magical Word document and I'll be reading it thoroughly before purchasing everything.

I thought it was the Maxx's.. so this is good.

Is that your tire of choice now? I have 17s now, and so have a much larger library of options for tires and load ranges, so I am going to be neck deep when these new tires get thin.

ST Maxx are VERY nice! I was going to get them but I don't go off road much so they were overkill for me. Bad ass tire though

They C load? On the positive side.. maybe.. my P265/75/16s were about the same weight difference.

If you jump to that size in an LT, it'll be a bit slower still. But your manual trans maybe less noticeable.

285/75r16 Cooper STT Pro's. Had 'em on for just over 3000 miles so far. They will be the NEXT tire I own too. Very pleased.

You get out far more than I do.

I may ask you some questions later on the Duratracs. But hopefully not for 30k miles. :D

I'm determined to get off road more this year. I live in Washington for goodness sake. I'm wasting my life away if I'm not off road. Thus, I'm looking at the AT or MT options. I like the slightly more aggressive look, too.

    No shit.

That's pretty good for weight then, considering how much a standard load 265 weighed.

I'd probably stick to a C load in 265 unless you really need something stronger.

If I do size up, which I will, they'll be 265 c rated

What kind of fuel economy are you seeing with the current rubber?

Probably high teens, or upper mid?

With the C rated 265 Duratracs I would get 20+mpg on highway and 18+ average driving.

E rated 285 STT Pros it's closer to 17-1/2 hwy and 16 average.
