It sounds like the kit I bought from another member on here, he had custom made. I didn't use it...figured it would need larger tires to look good and regeared to power them. I chose to go the strut spacer route. I traded the kit to my buddy and he recently sold it. The Procomps have a custom top hat to mount to a 5 lug.

Will not work, the top strut plate on the 5 lug is design for a 5.5" diameter coil, whereas the coil for a 6 lug Tacoma (2006+) has a smaller diameter. So the coil will not seat properly in the top strut mount.

Wrong side... Unless TC is doing some sort of specialized positive (+) caster set up for some reason.

I might also be too used to working on trophy truck suspension at the same time.

Looks like good is never good enough. I want to add the shackle flip and get that little bit more lift to make the rear an inch higher to even it out. I will not be off road. Is it important to add longer brake lines?
Is the ATO shackle the same for 6lug and 5lug Tacomas?
    Thanks for any feed back.

I was going to try to space out the mods to once a month but screw it. Whats the point? I'm ordering the LCE headers too.

Yeah extended brakes will come eventually and yeah the shackle flips are the same for both 5 and 6 lugs. I like having the extra 3/4 for my fox shocks.

If your going to do this yourself I suggest a torch or having a shop do it. If I did it again I'd go shop all the way lol.

Also I'll add a photo to my progress thread after the leafs settle a bit

8 rivets, its just 8 rivets to get to the shackle flip. Shackle rivets.jpg Rivet Heads. It took 8 dremel blades, angle grinder air chisel two hardened steel drill bits small sledge with 3 pry bars two drills and a few other things. Once I got the heads off I tried to punch them through(like they do in all those youtube vids so easy) Those things don't budge sooooo the 1/2" drill bit came out with some oil to lube the bit. those drill bits spray some sharp shrap metal. Wear the goggles. Whole thing took about 6 or 7 hours.Shacle Flip3.jpg Shacle Flip1.jpg Shackle Flip.jpg
It lifted my rear at least an inch but, I think it is more like 2. Definitely worth it.

I went to the er for a scratched cornea. Lots of hot metal it's like a baptism of metal shavings but totally worth it.
