2016 DCSB TRD OR (currently stock)

I'm starting my truck build this month with suspension. With help from the group buy I'm picking up King Ext Coilovers, TC UCAs, 12" 2.5 smoothies for the rear. I'll be doing shock relocation. I'm pretty stoked on this set up but for the life of me I can't determine what the best leafs would be for this hardware and my adventures.

I'll be adding close to 500 pounds to the truck with front and rear bumpers, skids, sliders, roof rack, and recovery gear. That will be the constant load. On overland adventures I'll probably be putting in another 300-400 pounds between camping supplies, RTT, passengers and what not.

I want good flex on rockcrawl sections and a reasonably comfortable ride on the rough forest roads or rutted out, rocky trails. I'm not building this truck to be a desert racer. If possible a decent in town ride (empty bed) would be a bonus. I split my daily drive miles between the truck and my Honda Nighthawk so if town cruising ain't going to happen I don't care. Just as long as my bones aren't being battered like in my friends 4Runner. Icon Stage 6 that's tuned for 800lbs over stock. Yeesh.

The target lift is 2.5-3" overall and I'll be running BFG KO2 34x10.5r17

Help me Tacomaworld, you're my only hope.

Full disclosure: I chose OME Dakar simply because of price and the fact I only carry 200-300 pounds. In addition i rarely even go offroad. I heavily considered a custom pack, and would definitely go that route if I was in your position.

Fwiw, the Dakars ride perfect for me and my modest Icon setup.

I'm waiting to hear back. Also debating Dakar or All Pro Expo. Anyone got feedback on those?

+1 on the dakars. ride us great. and a great price. if you haul heavy loads you'll notice a better/smoother ride. very impressed with them on my access cab as I haul a lot of stuff for my weekend projects.

The Dakars are of course a good choice, and they have an extra leaf that can be added for additional support.

Our Wheeler's 8 Leaf Progressive is also a great option. Great riding progressive style pack that is Driver and Passenger Specific. We also have two different AAL options that can be added to the pack to provide load support for overland use. Becoming either a 9 Leaf or 10 Leaf Progressive Pack.
