 Awesome thanks! I have these in my wifes Ford Edge and no problems. It didn't require anything additional either, just wanted to make sure. Thank you

Except their customer service is unobtainable, as is their lifetime warranty. Bought 4 sets and when the bulbs fell apart they dont answer the phone or e mails.

While I personally have not had to deal with ddmtuning for a warranty issue. I sold a car that had a kit on it, the ballast went out on it, the kid contacted them and had a new one shipped out on them. For what ever that's worth

I have been able to get replacement pieces from ddm in the past, although I have moved on to morimoto products in my vehicles. Can't beat TRS customer service.

Hate to break it to you but the Tacoma's have used CAN Bus since 2005

I'm pretty sure Toyota doesn't have CAN bus for its headlights nor other lights. Only for other electrical items. See below.

How do I know if my car is equipped with CAN Bus?

If the vehicle warns you when a bulb is out, it is equipped with CAN Bus. The easiest way is to contact the vehicle’s supplier or dealership. If you’re still not sure, we normally tell customers to remove a light and drive the vehicle to see if it gives a warning. For example, remove a rear parking light – one that is not a brake light or turn signal also and drive the vehicle around during the day with the parking lights on. If the vehicle gives the bulb out warning, it is CAN Bus. If no warning, no CAN Bus.

Can you use CAN Bus LED bulbs in non-CAN Bus applications?

CAN Bus LED bulbs should not be used in non-CAN Bus applications because in most cases they can cause other vehicle circuits to have problems. Electrical systems are much like the flowing water in a river. If a log or other obstacle is placed in its path, the water backs up, but then finds another route. A CAN Bus LED bulb presents more resistance than the stock bulb due to built-in resistors and may cause feedback into other circuits in the non-CAN Bus electrical system.

Not for its headlights I'm just saying in general it uses CAN communication. High end cars do that, but your headlights themselves don't have a module built in the headlight. The computer just senses the resistance change and displays an Alert. Toyota just doesn't do a display like that, even on their older Lexus models

That's what I thought you meant but had to make sure just so others don't get the wrong impression and buy can bus lights and mess up their electrical system.

Apparently I should have been more informative. When ordering headlights for your 2016 Tacoma do NOT order lights for a CAN bus system. We do NOT have the warning lights for lights that have failed. Like Stormtroopertaco16 said you could damage your truck.

Worst experience of my life with iJDMTOY. Received a previously used LED light bar with scratches. Was not as bright as I was led to believe. Returned unit and did not hear from them for 2 weeks. Once I reached out to them they said they would not refund my money as the unit had dirt on it! Haha not a professional company, not willing to work out issues, not willing to keep their customers happy. I would discourage anyone from buying from them as you can get a much better bar from Cali raised for a bit more money and get great service. This company is a joke. They claim to be one of the largest companies in the US that provides LED lights for trucks. Nothing but issues with them, still fighting with them to get my money back. Filled complaint with BBB.

    Like, so many.
It's early and I misread the title. I thought it was going to be much more tragic. Glad I was wrong

I've been running the kit noted in this thread for almost 2 months and love it. Install was about 15 minutes which did not include time to pull the battery or washer fluid reservoir.

I did put the kit on a separate circuit off the battery running a relay triggered by the normal low beam plug. Had an extra harness lying around that I used instead of buying a new one for $40 or so as mentioned in the thread above.
