    3. Why the fuck didn't they pull it back up when it was at the top of the hill, maybe avoiding the whole tree in the side and underneath thing. I understand it's heavy but you had other vehicles around. It would of been a whole lot easier than almost rolling multiple times coming down the hill. And I thought I was impatient...

I wonder if it's even possible to make the paddle shifters work with a second gen.

^Hard to say. Should be possible with the 3rd gen, since the shifter has +/- inputs.

Meh on the CF, never saw the point of it as a decorative piece.

Paddle shifters on a truck seem like a fish on a bicycle. :)

Need a reprogram though since the S mode is just a limiter not a pseudo-manual-mode like on other cars. (my funcar's paddle shifters work nicely as it'll hold the specific gear)

Limiter works better actually. The one I tried on F150s works in a similar way. There's usually no need to force an upshift, just to force a downshift to keep the revs up.

We'll just have agree to differ. I prefer my funcar setup where it's pseudo manual vs. a limited automatic. If I'm taking control of the shiftpoints, I prefer to control both up and downshifts.

In your fun car, say you downshift to 3rd with the paddle, then you let the rpms drop too low, does the computer automatically shift to 2nd, or does it let the engine bog?

It'll shift only to prevent damage. So it'll get close to but not quite bog. Once it does shift it will maintain the new set gear as if it'd been shifted. Same in the other direction.

To be honest it's more of a visceral feeling, the difference in shift points, and not easily described why I find it matters.
