I am just going to race dirt from now on. Been racing in the JDay series last couple years and going to stick with that for now. Loudon was fun for a while but once I started travelling to other tracks it got expensive real quick. Now I spend like $100 for the whole weekend instead of $600 just on tires

Big bikes are stupid expensive to run comparably to dirt/sm. I can be out $20 for a supermoto track day plus gas where as big bikes was $150 plus gas.

This is a shot in the dark but I have two questions.

Do any of you have a droid turbo and have you used the ram mount x grip with that particular phone?

I'm concerned that the grip itself will hit the power button on the side of the droid turbo.

 I have a 1981 (I think) Harley Davidson FXB Sturgis that doesn't get ridden as much as it should. It was my grandfathers who had a love for harleys.

Had my first sm race of the season. Went down four times in the first moto:frusty: dislocated my shoulder at one point. Snapped my cycra skid plate in half, broke a cycra Probend handguard somehow? But I still improved my fastest lap by two seconds, ha. Then continued to race in the second moto.

Pretty hard to ride and jump after dislocating a shoulder for a little bit. Made some dumb mistakes in the dirt which made me tuck the front tire. But the mx is paying off and I'm comfortable hitting doubles, even passed a few people mid jump!

I have an iPhone 7 and use the X grip in my truck and I have a mount on the bike too. If I did center the phone on the grip, it does hit the power and volume buttons, so I have to put the phone in with basically the top of the phone in line with the top grips. Not sure where the buttons are on the Droid but you may be able to do a similar thing.

I don't use the grip on the bike anymore since I have a credit card holder on the back of my phone and the phone just doesn't feel as secure in the grip anymore since the grips aren't tall enough. I'm sure it would be fine but I don't want to risk it in the bike whereas in the truck it's not a problem if it does ever fall out. I do have the rubber securing thing so I could use it on the bike but it's too much effort :p
