Im looking at maybe putting some airbags on my truck. Have you ever had problems with them while wheeling?

 

No. I haven't had air in them in over a year. They're always at 0psi. I recommend the cradles if you do wheeling.

Hey man i thinking of going the same way you went with the snorkel. Any tips on the install. Things not to do.

DId a recently oil change and found i had ton of mud in my intake and on my filter. Dont want that to happen again.

Page 20 has the 3 items I bought.

That's why I got it. Mud getting into the intake. I had cut that plastic trimming too much and mud and water was able to get into the intake. Just keep measuring and you'll have to cut like an inch or so of the snorkel. The piece that touches the rubber hose.

Also, I didn't drill into the pillar. I just used a strip of Velcro and it works fine.

Did some maintenance this past week. Fresh rebuild plus added 14" 700# coils and replaced both cv axles.

 

@adriancast I like how you mounted your ViAir in your engine bay. May I ask what model that is and how you mounted it in there?

 

$102 ViAir 88P Portable Compressor Kit (12V, 120 Psi, Forup to 33" Tires)

ViAir 88P. I went to Home Depot for the mount. I don't even know what's it's called. Haha I found the piece in plumbing dept. I used one of the bolts from the engine bay and the other drilled a hole and put a nut and washer to secure.

 

Very nice, that's the same one I've got. Haven't really gotten around to using it much. Are you generally happy with its performance?

Also, does it wiggle around at all? I'm planning to do the same snorkel as well, so I think I'll install the snorkel first then mount the ViAir in there, so I don't fuck it up by mounting the ViAir in the way of the snorkel hose.
