Procomp stage 2 6'' DB lift, Stock leafs 2 inch block with AAL. Honestly rides nice, doesn't sag yet, does lean a little more on driver side. Cant haul much(Id assume this is from the shitty stock tacoma leafs.)

Stage 1 Pro Comp here :frusty: Rides like garbage, I wanted to upgrade and I am starting with the rear. Do these Alcans just bolt right on and will keep my lift in the back the same height? would anyone recommend anything else to go along with a leaf pack?

I have the Alcan . I have the 8 leaf +200 lbs. and I am at stock higth. They ride great . If you do go with Alcan order them with the OEM bushings. The polyerathane ones squeak. I had to get some daystar polyerathane grease. I would definitely order Alcan again. Bill and his crew put out a great product and are very helpful. The trick is when you talk to Bill about what you want tell him exactly what you want. Hope this helps .

I bought them directly from Alcan.

I miss that truck on a regular basis... Truck got 17-18 or so going down the interstate at 60mph. Got 13 or so around town.
    Definitely wasn't a Prius.

Glueman - what did you finally go with deavers or Alcan ? I am looking to purchase a new set of leaf packs. I have the BDS 6” DB lift and need 800-1000lbs over stock

do I ask for a 6” lift spring or ?

I got some custom springs made for my truck. I think the best thing is to call one of those guys and tell them what you have, how much extra weight you have and what kind of off-roading you do and they can figure the rest out and make a set for you.

I ordered Alcan springs with a 4” lift. I have a fabtech 6” lift in the front and the rear has a 3” block and add a leaf. Will the 4” spring lift get me level or do I need to call back and increase the rear spring lift to 5 or 6?

Lew built/spec’d mine with 5” of lift for my bds 6” lift (bds has a 4” block). But I am carrying 920lbs constant in the rear, Lew built mine for 1k over weight. Lew was spot on with his calculations and weight.

if it was a bit high I could always have adjusted my front coilovers to level it. A 1/2 inch wouldn’t have been much.

I weighed my truck and sent pics and weigh ticket info to Lew, and he came up with the magic number

Extremely happy! Truck has never handled better suspension wise, best decision I made was to have Alcan build custom leaf springs specific for my truck.
