Welcome! Also join in the fun on the "Official Central Kentucky Thread" (oddly enough, in the "Midwest" sub-forum) Most all the regulars are either already at Land between the lakes, or are on their way. I'm stuck @ work until late today, then I'm rolling west. By next week, most everyone will be back to say howdy! Great bunch on these two threads. We'll do some wheelin', a few meet and greets and a whole lot of BS'ing on here. Join in and try to keep up.

You do much off roading? Many good spots in Kentucky, Red River Gorge area, LBL, and my favorite, Black Mountain in the Harlan area.

Will do, thanks man. I was scrolling through this thread and seen a lot of people left yesterday morning. Havent done any offroading yet. I want to. I actually used to do the whole "Import scene" with my Civic, (please don't judge, left that mess awhile ago), but got rid of it and got the Tacoma. Been scrolling around getting ideas of what I want to do. A lot of great looking rigs on here.

Post a budget and we'll be more'n happy to spend your money for you!

This group is more laid back...friendlier than a lot of "car/truck" type groups. The only competition is just friendly joking and teasing. Everyone seems to be OK with what the other guy does with his truck.... All about enjoying life!

My budget is seeing how much money I can spend before the wife notices. I can get in with some joking and teasing, that's what being in a forum is about! That very true, in the end, its our truck and what we like.

I know, thank goodness she doesn't check the bank account too often as I handle the finances.

I got lucky...My wife is into off roading at least as much as I am. All I have to do is make a case for why we'd be better off with the next thing I want to do to the truck and she's all good with it. I pay all the bills, so as long as there's money to play.....I get to play!

Well sounds like you got a good catch there. My wife isn't necessarily against doing things to the truck, more of the fact she's in school and I'm the only one who works right now, and we have a baby on the way, so I understand why.... but the itch to mod is tough!!!

I'm at the other end of the spectrum.....Kids are grown and on their own. Spoiling grand kids now. Wife works and each of us has a good job. Most bills are paid. I'm just trying to finish off a HUGE medical bill from cancer surgery last year. Once that's put to bed, I'll finish up the truck.

Cant wait to be at that point. Wife graduates in 3 months, so once she gets to work it will be a lot easier. Only have house and her school loan, we managed to pay off all of our other debts. Hope all is well now from the cancer!

I was rocking this guy. Seems pretty sturdy for the price, and it got used and worked fine: https://www.amazon.com/Shackle-Hitc..._2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1490016497&sr=1-2

e: That doesn't come with the pin to hold it in the receiver, so if you don't have a hitch laying around you'll need one.

Thanks man, I think I'm gonna buy that. Also, let me know when you want me to drop off the Graham's CB, I'm pretty much available anytime.
