How's olds your battery

Found the solution after searching the forum and found out cleaning the MAF and throttle body will correct the problem I experienced. My truck has nearly 160k on it and this would be the first time they were cleaned since I've owned it.

My '98 had the original factory battery until it started leaking and corroding the terminals. (18 years old)
It still worked just fine, I just replaced it since I didn't want the corrosion coming back.

 

Mines corrosive as well and I. Priced some bulgesnin the plastic so I will get a new one while it's in the budget.

 

Still rocking the factory in my 2011, I'm surprised my audio system hasn't killed it

 

Got mine July 2012 Baja version. Still cranking

 

My 2012 OEM failed when it was 3.5 years old all of the sudden no warning. Got another one from autozone (forgot the name) but it was a copy cat from the OEM with a different sticker.

 

I got 6 years out of my last battery. Replaced with another el Cheapo from auto zone

 

Still running my stock '12. Just tested it tonight and it was holding a steady 12.61. I'll probably replace it before next winter if it doesn't fail by then.

 

Replaced mine yesterday was 5 years old. I have the True 2 60-month battery

 

Car was made on the line Dec 2012. No issues so far.

 

My stock battery only lasted 3 years here in upstate NY, replaced it with an AGM battery from Advanced Auto Parts

 

7 years going...still

 

Had a 2004 4Runner before the taco, built in October 2003. That OEM panasonic battery lasted until November 2013. Even then it hadn't died completely, just noticed it was getting weak. Decided to replace it before it got too cold during the winter since I lived in PA at the time.

 

Anyone have experience with the Duralast Gold battery from auto zone? Ive seen good reviews on them.
