Best cover on the market, I have the same one. You are right about the cleats, I had to make some low profile ones. An Eye Bolt with a washer and nut on one side and a t-slot nut in the rail. They do the job well.

They come in a Gloss Black plastic. You can paint them with a good Universal Coating paint like Rustoleum Universal Matte Black to give ti a better look. Just clean them well so there's no oily spots to keep the paint from adhereing. Or you can Derp it with Flat black.

Why dip and not paint since it is going inside the bay?

I may rattlecan it. But I'm also considering doing the coat-on plastidip [actual dip] as it holds up a lot of electricity.

Looks great! You like the amount of cross bars you have? Or you think it needs more?

No paint chips for you I hope.
In all honesty this is the coolest one that I have seen yet. Are you a exterminator?

Did you decide if you were going to paint the hood?

Also did you notice any difference in the truck after installation?

Yeah, I since I lived 30min from the hood manufacturer I asked them where they get their hoods painted. They directed me to a auto body/paint shop around the corner from their warehouse. I was told it usually runs them $450 to $500 to paint their hoods. Both places are in Murrieta, CA. Hood manufacturer is RKsports.

Still waiting on installation, but I'll let you know if I notice anything, or changes to handling.

Besides Prinsu, what other brands are there that resemble your rack?

Can you PM a exact side profile shot from about 20 feet away?? I just got an ARE too. I've seen other racks but I don't know if they are specifically made for a shell or the truck body itself. I want something with thick sidewalls.

Yeah the rear does sit up just a tad higher. I tightened the rear clamps 1st while pushing down on the rail good and hard so mine is not that noticeable.
