    It's a cab mount chop... you don't need a shop. Go buy an angle grinder and safety glasses and get to work.

    The cutting isn't the problem. It's welding a pretty plate over the hole.

    Plating it is overrated. Mine is cut as far as it can possibly go and isn't plated. Makes it easier to wash out and touch up rust if it's open.
