I was wondering if anybody knew what sensor is considered "A/T oil temp 1" and "A/T oil temp 2"? I am looking in the trans so obviously it's trans oil temp. I assume trans pan temp and TC temp but I don't know which is which.
    Maybe @gearcruncher ?
Is there a printout/breakdown of Toyota's abbreviations somewhere? I can get a lot of info but find some of the abbreviations above me such as "SLT"... Maybe @tacotech72 ?
Or @ anyone else that may know a little. Thanks

I don't know the answers to your questions, but what software is that?

Forgot I had a PDF on A750E trans, granted its not the same tranny as the '16's, but the SLU is the Lock Up control solenoid, and SLT is the Line Pressure control solenoid.

Thank you for SLU/SLT explanation
I can get into any module but I'm not familiar with Toyota's abbreviations. I'm a European car guy so I'm most familiar with German acronyms.

Put trans in gear, foot on the brake, increase engine speed and see which temp increases first - most likely will be the temp measured at the torque converter. Other, most likely pan temp

On the AC60 series transmissions , Temp sensor # 1 reads transmission fluid returning from the transmission cooler .
Temps sensor # 2 reads torque converter discharge fluid on its way to the transmission cooler .

You have 2 choices as to what sensor you prefer to monitor , however , most members here at TW monitor sensor # 2 as torque converter discharge fluid on its way to the cooler is always going to be the hottest and your goal is to keep this temp under 200 degrees
