Awesome! Should be fun on a bike! I haven't tried overlanding on a bike. Maybe I should look into it

Would there be space for an LJ and possibly a WK to come along?

Yep, rode a Beemer for years. Last bike was a BMW F650GS Twin. Really fun bike. I had skid plate, full luggage, tank bag, heated grips and jacket... it was loaded. But, I sold it and used that money and traded in my Honda Civic for a Tacoma TRD Off-Road. This way I can take my dog with me anywhere, in any weather.

Ive only had street bikes. Current bike is a 2014 Yamaha FZ-09. If i go off a curb, could clip the drain plug and mess up my oil pan

Yeah, that's not an adventure bike. I started with a BMW F650GS single as my first road bike (I grew up riding dirt bikes and this was easy to migrate to). Then I rode a friends R1100S sport-touring bike and fell in love. Bought one of those and rode it for a few years. Absolutely beautiful bike and very comfortable. The boxer motor on these bikes is f'n awesome (an ode to the days that BMW made aircraft). But I really missed the ability to explore dirt roads. The R1100S had ABS that could not be disabled, which is a mess riding on gravel/dirt. So I sold it and bought the F650GS Twin.

I dont think i have pictures of all of my bikes. But they were 2001 Suzuki GS500, 2002 Honda CBR600 F4i, 2008 Harley Nightster 1200, 2007 Triumph Speed Triple 1050, And now the FZ-09. Ive also had a 1974 Honda CB350 cafe racer, 1992 Honda Nighthawk 750, 2007 Yamaha C3 scooter, as second bikes/projects while having the main ones.

    I miss all of them.
