    Thanks man! Yeah.... Type A does looks a bit awkward bc of that tow hook cross member. Hmmmm... Might just got with type B and chop both the cross member and part of my from skids that I got from pelferyBuild built :boom:...bc payed the extra $$$ for aluminum skids......

    Yeah, the bumper I'm building I plan to cut the cross member off since it throws the bumper/skid plate off. Damn, that sucks... Time to use your imagination to make it work!

    Curious where you relocate thenoil lines when you cut the cross member for the type b bumper? Since they normally bolt to the cross member

    After some trimming I'm sure you could end up with a flush finish just be sure to take your time and measure twice. :sawzall::sawzall::sawzall:

    In the past my solution was zip-ties but I've actually started adding a tab recently. :anonymous:

    Honestly if your serious about offroading ditch those stock lines and get a nice tranny cooler. Made a huge difference on my truck :burnrubber:

    Lol thanks. Yeah I've currently just got them held up with zip ties but thought of an easy way to add a bracket to my new skid mount.

    I like the thought of a bigger and better trans cooler but I don't think I have much room with the intercooler for the sc stuffed in there as well. :burnrubber:

    Pretty sure that's the one. But I just bother his personal phone with novel length texts :laugh: he's super busy guy and may take a bit for a response but he is a really good guy and his work speaks for itself, top notch!!!

    I'm interested in the type b but I'm a little nervous about cutting the crossmember lol i cant find anything on it except that it will cause to much torque on the frame letting it twist and move.
    Anyone have a good write up on it or anything? I hate that damn thing though and don't want to keep it anyway but not sure

    Tried to find a good pic but I guess I didn't take one. But I chopped mine to the height I wanted when I did my front bumper and skids and then welded some 2" square tubing back in to be the new cross member. Cut mine right at the bottom of the front bumper mount so I gained a good amount of approach angle

    What he said ^^^^

    :sawzall::sawzall::sawzall:

    I used to weld one in on my bumper installs back in the day when I built them on the trucks. I honestly think its bit of overkill considering the bumper itself acts as a cross-member when bolted down properly.
