Sorry in advance this may be long. I wish I could describe it in better words. Their red is just your basic red it did not match the color of the stitches on the TRD PRO automatic shift knob it was to dark (I held it up to it) but the sales person showed me a new color called Salsa so I held the sample up to the threads of the shifter knob and it was a perfect match. So if you have seen the TRD red thats it. Do a goggle search for TRD PRO auto shift knob and you can see it but note some computers screen colors may vary. I was pretty much doing a scouting trip when I went to a authorized installer just to check the colors and I took the knob with me for reference and that was the ticket. If you hold both samples side by side the differrence is noticable. Salsa is a richer color it seems to have a little more life to it. They named it well. I'm a artist and I paint with a airbrush and mix my own colors so my eyes are color sensitive. If you plan on installing your seats yourself I would still go to a autherized dealer and look at the color swatches or if you don't have one close to you maybe you can get some samples from John or contact Katzkin and they may send you some I don't know. I will say for what I was trying to acheive when I opened the box with the seats in it my jaw dropped they are so beautiful!!! grabbed the knob held it to it and it was a perfect match!!!!!!! mission accomplished!!!!!! now making the time to putting them in. I hope this helped a little.

I know I seam to ocd with the red stitches color to match but I'm trying to keep the colors close to match the other TRD parts I have and will get.

They can do leather and suede I think not sure about a synthetic like alcantara. Contact Katzkin they can with that question.

Can anyone provide some pics of where they installed the heated seat buttons on a 3rd gen? Thinking about installing left and right of the Qi charger button and wondering if that's not the best plan.

John was amazing to work with. Anyone can do the install. Mine turned out better than most. Assuming it's because I took my time and made sure everything was straight before hog clipping them down. Well worth the money.

I think two things that helped:

    1) I spent time to make sure the hog ring bar attached to the covers were center in the foam groove before crimping them down
    2) Make sure to not crimp the hog ring as hard as you can. It'll pull it in too far and creates wrinkles.

Thanks for the info. Good points. I have read and seen pix of ones that the seams not lined up and the hog rings where crimped to much and caused alot of wrinkles.

I was at my Toyota dealership today getting a cosmetic flaw fixed on my 2017 TRD Sport and I got to get a good look at the 2017 LIMITED and TRD PRO. I don't wish to diss anybody but the leather Toyota uses is just plain bad. The workmanship was ok but the leather did not look good or feel good at all !!
The Katzkin seat set I have and will soon install is 10x better! It looks better feels better and even smells better than factory . Sorry just my 2 cents.

Wasn't getting my forum notifications and missed your Install pics. Thanks for the great install and recommendations for others to follow.

Hey gang! I just bought a new TRD Sport MGM. It's somewhere on the production line now. I wanted to add Katzkin leather seats, as well as all 4 side door panels. I haven't seen any pics of 2016/17 models redoing the door panels. Is that an option thru here to get extra leather for that?
