I mate this boat alot and hooked up this for the kid holding the fish (I'm in the red shorts). This was his first dolphin, he was pretty excited. A nice size one for your first fish is always a bonus.

I mate this boat, my capt wanted to take a friend of ours out because his son (who was seasick all day and puking) and his son in law were in town. Got his son in law this nice sail, about as big as they get around here, he was stoked, his first sail. It went back in the water, I revived him until he swam out of my hand.

Got out in the yak yesterday. I was looking for walleye, but the bass are what I found.

Check out the color difference between your smallie compared to mine. Though your bass looks as though it could swallow mine. Nice pics you have!

Winter ranges my man, gotta find them about a month ago to get general areas. But if your finding old ones your in somewhat the right area. Just do a lot of glossing.

My problem is finding places where people haven't been. Utah is crazy, even more so with "opening morning" they put on.

I don't know where you're located, I'm sure you understand

I'm from Washington, it's not anywhere near as crazy as all the Utards where your at lol I went on Saturday which I normally never go on weekdays but I still didn't see anyone where I was. However I go in around 5-7 miles and start picking them up. The easy stuff gets picked up quick.

Thanks. Color can vary a lot and will change from the time you catch them depending on how dark and deep they have been. I caught these in water with a top-water temp of low 50s and pretty good clarity -- about 5-7 feet of visibility; and they were probably in about 10-15 feet of water chasing crawfish -- at least, that's the pattern they were hitting.
