Is this a good enough adhesive for the 3 inch metal letters being adhered on to my mesh or should I get different adhesive for that?

I used 3M VHB double stick take (like, serious OEM automotive grade shit) and then added some 2-part Loctite as well.

I mean, that may be good but I've never seen it before.

Yeah, just use some 3M VHB tape. The automotive kind has this cool little rip away feature so you don't have to trim by hand.

    but uh locktite? o_O

Those wheels and tires look great on your truck! Do you have a lift and what size tires are those?

Managed not to get hit on the way home from work.

Decided I'm likely going to buy a set of Dakar rear springs as part of my lift setup.

Is there a good place to run the CB antenna cable through the firewall or do I just have to drill a hole.

Like someone else said just use 3m VHB tape. I actually used the 3m stuff like sold at lowes/HD/hardware store which is called "Extreme Mounting tape" which I think is either VHB or very very similar. RTV ain't gonna cut it, that's more of a sealant adhesive than a sealant/adhesive. Plus with the tape it makes it relatively easier to remove down the line if desired. My large aluminum letters have been stuck to my grille for about a year now and still holding like cement.

Which side? Driver or passenger? Either way both have a 3/4 maybe 1inch grommet towards the upper third if the firewall. On passenger side it's super easy to identify, on driver side if you have the vacuum booster it's sort of hidden slightly behind it, otherwise if you have electronic booster it's sort of rearward of the brake fluid reservoir.

You'll have to snake it down the dash on either side. And once you pull the grommet you need to punch a hole in the carpet layer directly behind it.

Way easier imo than the large main harness boot.

    EDIT:
Someone else's pic of pass side. Driver side has an identical firewall plug.
