luckily dealer was on the way home from work.

i used an exacto knife to cut the mat and an awl to poke the carpet to start it.

i'm thinking of using the other two since it comes as a set of 4, for the back.

Pretty sure my 2017 has the new style and that bastard moves ALL THE TIME. I'm getting the VW clips for mine ASAP.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
someone can have my factory ones if they paypal me like $20 for shipping. 48 only

first one to quote this post wins

    no only front...

if you need both you dont win...

also im changing the rules. the winner is whoever posts a picture of their favorite CRIMSON TIDE moment. and im dropping the shipping charges so its 100% free but you must post the best Bama moment in your opinion followed by a 200 word explanation on why you picked the moment you did.

How secure are the threaded pieces that attach to the carpet, did they seem like they wouldnt ever loosen over time?

They screwed into the carpet, felt pretty damn secure. I'm assuming this is how the driver side mounts are in the carpet.

VW's setup installed today. Did I say a week or two, I meant a month or two. They look factory for sure, and fit very well. I feel they will work as they should and the screws will hold up well.

    Cheers tacopromatt!!

Drawer liner seems to work well for me. I just taped it to the bottom of the mat
