New Member (sorta)

What's up guys am somewhat new here. I have been lurking around the forum for the last few months since I bought my Tacoma but just recently joined the forum. Enough about me, lets talk about my truck!

I bought a 1996 Tacoma SR5 with 238,000 (now 242,000) back in early December and the best part is I paid a whopping $750! I did some work for the owners wife and I told her I liked the truck and she said her husband thought about selling it in a few months so I told her to have him contact me when he was ready. Well when he got home from work his wife told him I was interested and he called me that night and told me he was ready to sell it. I am from Indiana and the truck spent the majority of its life in California so it is completely rust free. It has Total Chaos Fabrication upper control arms and I believe an Old Man Emu lift kit. It is sitting on 33x12.5R15 Cooper Discoveries (they were just mounted before I bought the truck) and an unknown wheel setup. All the mods were done by the first owner (I'm the third) so I don't know all the specifics. The second owner had ripped out the carpet because the heater core went out and leaked coolant on it so he just removed it. I bought it as a work truck/beater, which it is still but it's also something I want to keep "nice."

I have big plans for it once I graduate college and move out on my own. Thanks for listening to my speil and look forward to seeing everyone elses trucks.
