    Heck ya I bought a 10' or 12' sun dolphin at Walmart for cheap. It's a sit on top, I rigged it for fishing with anchor trolly and all the nessesities. Works great for half the price of the big name rigs. Just debadge it lol

    Ya easier to deal with. After using the kayak awhile, I much prefer my canoe. More room to move and for gear plus you can throw a fish in there without worrying about losing it.

    Very true!!! I was thinking a canoe also and maybe the Mrs could get out with me sometime.

    I really like the flat backed (not sure the correct term) canoes, would love a trolling motor!

    Ya a Ganoe I believe is the name. Would be nice, if you find a good deal on Craigslist for a canoe you can always build a motor mount but its usually side mounted. Out the back would be nice
