Help, too many threads out there on how to wire fog lamps independently from headlights. It's confusing. I just want the dang things to come on anytime I press the toggle switch. I have seen pics of doing this thing to the relay where you bypass the lights, but which wires and where to they go from relay so that fog lights power would be off when ignition switch is turned off and battery won't run down in case fog lights are left on? Another thing I don't want to be dealing with any dog one wiring inside the cab's fuse box since these are already factory wired there.
Sorry, may sound impatient but frustrated because the instructions so far are confusing and haven't come across any that appeal to me.
    Thanks.

The dog one fuse box for the fog light mod is under the hood, not the dash. Simple mod, takes maybe 5 minutes work of you aren't afraid to mess with the dog one fuse box under the hood.

Doing it this way you have to bend the fog lamp relay prong out to side and attach a female blade connector with what Guage wire? It that 18 or 16? You can splice into to a power wire?

There is a green wire on a large wire harness if you look past the relay it's near the edge of box towards engine , take your jumper wire and attach a pointed prong and just slide it down into the green wire on the harness that is your aux power only on when key is on 16g wire will be fine, when looking at the relay the prong to bend out is the top left looking at it, real simple and easy did several of my buddy's tacomas this way
