Needs some info on the v series vs cx series....what makes them different? Recessed window on the CX? That it?

Local dealer said the cx is a way better fit "more refined" than the v series

Bought my 100XR yesterday for my Barcelona Red TRD OF DC SB $2605 OTD
Figured I'd give everyone a breakdown for price comparisons:
    Cap: $1545 installed price
    Removable front sliding window: $90
    Double sliding windoors: $180 each
    Carpet headliner: $125
    Thule Rails/Tracker II/Fairing: $350

Said about 2-3 weeks, I'm a bit nervous about the color matching on the Barcelona Red, anyone have one yet?

I'll post pictures when it comes in

I'm about to pull the trigger on a ARE Overland for my DCSB in the magnetic gray metallic color. I can't seem to find any pictures of that combo other than on other truck models.. anyone seen this before that can provide a first hand opinion?

With the coupon, you could have received the Headliner free... It may not be too late, call your dealer.

Leer does a good job color matching. I've never had a problem with their product. Also talk to your dealer about the free carpet coupon. I'm sure you just put down an deposit until it's installed so they can always adjust it. I went through the leer factory store and they did it without mentioning the coupon. Every dealer is different.

I got a 10% off discount from the cap and install price so they wouldn't let me combine anything else but good looking out though

For a comparison, here's what I was quoted (in Canadian dollars though)

Century Ultra Sport (Same as Leer XR) $2100

    Options I went with:
    Removable Front Slider Window $150
    Windoor Slider $255(ea.)
    Keyless Remote Twist Handle $140
    Interior Headliner $150 (FREE!)
    Thule Tracks Only $255

It only took 2 weeks for it to show up to my installer, I've scheduled install for Thursday... not a big fan of canopy's but the benefits outweigh the cons, can't wait to use it for camping!

It's an access cab but close enough maybe? I really like it, breaks the color up nicely on the truck I think. Not the best pic but I can take more if you'd like.

No that's a great pic man, thank you.
I agree with the color contrast aspect of it. I've also been wanting to swap my bed side decals to these as well. Nice looking truck

I'm looking at buying an ARE CX with the HD upgrade. I am really torn on the vented windoors or aluminum inserts. If I get the inserts I want to add a tool box on one side. I am concerned though that I wont like the visibility with the aluminum panels. I've never had a cap on any of my past trucks. How much if any can I expect the solid windoors will limit visibility? Any thoughts if I should put the tool box on passenger or driver side windoor? I am thinking passenger side so I am not exposed to traffic if I am getting tools out when parked roadside.

I'd say you have nothing to worry about. I've had both glass and aluminum side doors on canopies on my truck. The side aluminum doors didn't ever cause any visibility issues for me. Plus, most glass windoors are pretty heavily tinted anyways... so that impedes visibility too.

Well finally got in to have my canopy checked here this morning. Turns out the seal that was originally installed with it was done improperly and the canopy ended up rubbing against and wearing paint out on the front of the box of the truck. Not a huge deal, they are going to replace the seal with a thicker one and reinstall.

The other issue though, is that the front window when we were looking to see if the shell was cracked around it, which it wasn't but the, window frame was bent our of shape from the factory. Looks like they over torqued the compression bolts that hold the window into the canopy which is causing the seal to distort and not seal properly to the shell, which is why it was leaking on the shell. 4-6wks to get a new one. Sigh. at least we found the issue, now just to figure out how to get the new window installed when I am around. Hopefully I am still here in the area when the window comes in, otherwise I have to go through all this again with another dealer.

Got my Century Ultra Sport [aka Leer 100XR] on Thursday and wired up the interior light, electronic locking door, and Pop & Lock on the tailgate today, loving it now that it's controlled along with the doors.

Any tips for removing the Century badges on the sides? Should I wait for the paint to fully cure before attempting?

GooGone will take those badges off easily.

I like that your installers ran the wiring cleanly, instead of just drilling a hole in the visible metal, like the clowns at the Surrey CapIt did for my install.

Super, super sharp! This is the style and color I'd like (I'm going DC) How much coin am I looking at here? I want the racks, too. I really like the color break-up on yours.
