Search Amazon for 'block and tackle'

Electric winches are great, but not necessary.

My tent has been on since the day I put it on 3 years ago. Can't justify taking it on/off because of how much I use it.

Bolt lock (keyed alike to my truck key) + eye bolts. Not 100% theft proof, but it'll deter an honest thief.

    Lots of sail boat fuel
That's our issue. But I'm getting close to renting storage space for all my equipment, and this.

Think getting a recording of different dogs barking to play in place of the car alarm would be effective? ;) haha

Looks like the TENTS are becoming well known for being a valuable and easy theft item. There was a guy in our 4x4 group here in BC that a TEPUI stolen off the back. - no insurance for him!!
We found this set online and have been using for about a month. They seem legit and so far my tent still on the back of my truck :bananadance:

2 man job would easy take that thing. Cant stop thieves completely but you can deter. I think most of these guys are opportunistic junkies probably selling our stolen tents for a quick fix.
