Hey all, been roaming the site off and on for years, and finally made an account as Ive started upgrading the tacoma, (and will hopefully be building another one soon)

Bought it stock off on older fella 3+ years back, just around 200,000kms.
He hadn't even turned the 4x4 on, and, well, as you can see, I got right into "using" the truck and 4x4!

Im pushing 407500kms right now, and the truck is still going strong.
I didn't start doing any major work until I hit the 350k mark, then I did my clutch, then started on the lift / engine work.
Other than that, regular maintenance, and not totally raping the gas / rpm's and this baby is still solid.

    Additions were:

    TOYTEC BOSS 3" Lift w/ rear add-a-leafs
    K&N Cold Air Intake
    TRD Exhaust
    Fuel 17" Rims
    Toyo AT2 285/70/17
Performance Clutch (cannot remember which one, ordered via LORDCO)
Xenon HID HeadLights <<-----Swapped out for SPYDER HALO's
    Kenwood/Garmin GPS/DVD Player

I had the majority of my work done at COCHRANE TOYOTA (Alberta, Canada) aka TACOMA TOWN.
Take a look at these beauties they built:
    http://www.cochranetoyota.com/t4-edition

getting the bushwhacker fender flares soon, and, hopefully a new supercharged engine is in the near future.

Thanks for taking a peak, and letting me creep on all your guys' nice trucks!

eh guys I have been off the site for a bit minus checking in on whats good for sale items
hoping to snag something Im after here in Canada haha.
Anyhow, build has changed direction slightly due to never enough $$ and other life issues
but the truck is still hammering it out.
Im at 476800 some kilometres now, and the build list is sitting at:

    Toytec BOSS 3" Suspension Lift
    Camburg UCA and LCA
    K&N CAI
    AFE ThrottleBody
    JBA Titanium Shorty Headers
    TRD Exhaust
    Fuel Octane 17" Rims
Toyo AT2's (Might be going to Nitto MG for the summer season)
Rebuilt the rear drive shaft into a 1 piece big n beefy sucker at PatsDriveline

still looking to add some bumpers and a possible super charger, but damn bills keep coming lol.
I have lots of truck pics up at :

I have just under 478000 kms, or around 290000 miles? on it.
The truck has been so good to me. Only parts that have "failed" would be my driver side
wheel bearing at 300,000 kms, right before I started modding it.
I had New UCA's ordered when my driver side one broke.
Other than that its regular maintenance (oil changes I do every 5000kms even though
    the dealership says 8000?)
I do my transfer case and diffs every 100,000 kms at least.
Treat it nice and it treats me nice ;)

That's the case with most cars lol. As mileage racks up, I start considering more things to be "typical" such as wheel bearings, radiators, etc. These things fail with time. In general, if you take good care of it, it takes good care of you.

Need to get some new pics asap. I should be putting my new (front) tube bumper on tomorrow. It's made in my hometown of Abbotsford BC, by Big Country Customs.
Ive also added spyder (Made for Tacomabeast I got them off carID) taillights but haven't got the rear bumper yet.
