Any with experience running Toyo AT IIs? Tread wear? Grip? Handling? Noise? I am considering 285/70/17s. Any other tire I should consider? The feedback on the BFG KO2s are that they are a much harsher ride, but still an excellent tire. Much more expensive than the Toyo AT IIs.

I've got a set of LT265/75R16s with about 9000 miles on them. So far I'm quite impressed. Very good handling characteristics with the load range c, not to harsh but still firm and planted. They have very good traction in dirt/gravel and clean out nicely in muddy conditions. They also handle the rain well. No side pull when hitting puddles on the highway

Snow performance has been moderate. As with any all terrain tire they are a compromise. I've had to use my 4x4 when driving through a few inches of snow, but I feel like that's to be expected. That being said, even in icy conditions they've exceeded my expectations.

Not sure what size or rating you're going for but the LT versions have a 50000 mile tread life warranty, and the P metrics have a 65000 mile warranty, so there's that. Speaking of which, after 9000 miles of mostly highway and some moderate offroading, the tread depth has barely changed. No chunking or gouging either.

I was lucky and had a friend with a shop get them for me at cost, $140 per tire. I was about to go KO2 but im glad I didnt. Several pounds lighter but still aggressive enough for my needs. 20170319_113545.jpg
Here they are on my right, loaded down with 4 adults and a bed full of gear.20170318_190257.jpg
Drove 45 minutes on what is mostly an ohv trail to get to this campsite and never had to use 4x4 with the AT2's. There was a pretty steep hill climb right before the camp and I never even broke the wheels loose.

I had the P rated Toyo Open Country AT IIs in 265/75/r16 on my truck before the Coopers I have now. Put about 75,000 miles on them in a little over 2 years. I thought they performed well. Still had some tread left, but they were starting to loose traction by the time I replaced them. I thought they wore pretty evenly, were quieter, and I liked them a bit better than the Coopers I have now. I will probably go back to the Toyos after these Coopers wear out in another year or so.

I also have them in P rated. Have put about 15-20k on them so far, and they still look almost new. I chose them for a few reasons. One being they are one of the lighter tires in that class/size. The highway noise so far has been minimal. Traction in snow has been good. Overall pretty happy with them.

I'm running those exact tires. 4,000miles on them. No issues, minimal noise if any at speed... No complaints except for wishing the voids had been spaced out just a tad bit more.... IMAG1598.jpg

I bought a set about 5k miles ago. I've only used them on the pavement so far, but no complaints in that regard. Road noise is minimal, I only notice it if I'm trying to hear it. Also have had no slipping in wet conditions. I really like them and will probably buy them again next time, especially if they hold up as long as people say they do.

Just got these installed today. Curious to see how they do. I'm coming from Duratracs, which really got loud as they got older. I think these tires look great!

For those curious, these are Toyo Open Country A/T II (LT285/65R18).
