I always used regular car wash soap, Vin advised to not use any harsh wheel cleaners because they could harm the matt finish.

Edit: Tire wet was also a no go, because if it got on the wheels it would give them a glossy look.

That's what I have been using. Wash and use my leaf blower to dry them.

As far as maintenance goes, routine washing/cleaning is key to having a long lasting finish. For washing, we like to recommend just using whatever soap you use for the truck's paint. Nothing special is needed. Sometimes, those dedicated alloy wheel cleaners contain harsh cleaning agents that can stain the matte finish and leave a streaky finish behind. So just the regular car/truck wash soap is all that is needed. I do recommend adding a light coat of wax, anything that's safe for the truck's paint will be fine, to help protect the finish. This does add a little sheen to the wheel, but it will also helps to minimize the brake dust on the wheels. That's all there is to it so I hope this helps!

    Hey Vin,
I love the wheel design! I have literally scrolled through every page of this thread today and I finally found some good pictures of the Matte Gunmetal on a Super White Tacoma and that's what I'd love to get for mine! I'd love them in a 17" if possible but they seem to be grayed out on your website. Are they just out of stock right now? If so, when will you have them back in stock and can I get on a waiting list? What would my price be shipped to 97504?
    Thanks!!

Best to message him or use the SCS website contact form, and yes that means they're out of stock, but he can send you an invoice and get you on the list for the next shipment.

Vin's bronze colored wheels are beautiful. Pictures will never do it justice.

There's people running 315s with them. Just depends on your suspension setup and how much you want to chop.
