Following the 2016 BBP audio build in the stickies of this section, I was initially planning to purchase a 5 channel amp and run the speedwire directly from the entune to it. I recently removed the sound system from my Camry and would like to reuse the amplifiers for the time being (budget reasons). I have a 4 channel (Pioneer GM-8604) for the door speakers and a mono (Pioneer GM-8601) for the subwoofer(s).

Would I be able to run the speedwire to both (each) of these amplifiers (they have the speaker-level input adapters), or would I need a Line Out Converter? I've never kept an OEM stereo, so I'm a novice in this regard.

    Thanks in advance.

LOC is inadequate. You need a sound processor which will flatten the factory source output signal. If you use just an LOC, when you turn the volume up, there won't be any bass signal provided to the amp to amplify. The factory radio actively reduces the bass frequencies as the volume is turned up.

I'm not sure how good or fast the newer Entune radios are or if you have navigation built in...it might be worth just getting a basic head unit, which would be cheaper than buying a processor.
