    A thing or two...
RAM makes a magnetic mount. http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-202-339U

I have one on order. Waiting for an out of stock piece to come in for my order to ship.

That's a cool idea. I have the Spigen magnetic air vent mount. It worked great on the vent for super fast access. But during the cold months the phone sometimes overheated being in front of a vent with hot air blowing on it. The option of combining the magnetic holder with the RAM mount on the pillar is pretty cool. Looking forward to seeing pics of this @SeafireXV.

Wanted to do the bolt cover mod and use a longer bolt/taller spacer to get the ball a bit farther out from handle and now I can't find the damn cover thingie to drill.......guess it can wait, lol.

IMG_2560.jpg IMG_2561.jpg IMG_2558.jpg IMG_2559.jpg Got all my parts and installed it. The Scosche mag mount works great, even with my otter box defender on the phone. Need to get used to it being there, and probably going to run a charge cable under the dash and up the pillar, but I like it a lot. It's solid!
