2016 Tacoma bed cover hardware

I'm looking for the hardware to mount a factory tonneau cover on a 2016 Tacoma short bed, Toyota asks too much for them, anyone on tw that can sell them to me?

 

Good luck, you will probably have better luck picking up a whole setup from someone. I think I saw one the other day for about 300 bucks.

 

What hardware are you looking for specifically?

You need to trim your bed rail cover or trade with someone that upgraded.... then what else??

More importantly how did you get a cover without the hardware??

 

It's unlikely that anyone would pull off and sell their cover without the included hardware unless it broke off and they had it lying around. You may get lucky on the buy/sell/trade thread, but you also may have to just buy it from the dealer.

 

I didn't buy the cover yet, someone has one for sale after they took it off their truck, they took the cover only when traded the truck in.

 

Ummm they will need OEM parts to replace the parts needed for the cover.... so whomever is selling the top will have all the parts ... including the bed rail covers that need to be cut to install the top. Or if it's the dealer they are trying to rip you off.. just sayin.

 

Actually, I know of someone who took just the cover off when they sold their truck. They didn't realize the needed to take off the mounting gear. They tried to give me the cover, but I could not use it and the dealership whated too much for the needed parts.
