6" lift, is this worth it?

I would never shit on someone else's plans for their truck- no matter if I disagreed or didn't like the idea- it's their truck.

Yep, lift is nothing if the bump stops are not extended/uptravel limited. But with a bracket lift you can maintain the full articulation.

I like my FJ setup: Rough Country 6" kit brackets = crossmembers and spindles, extended FOX coilovers, full airspring suspension at rear with FOX shocks. Lift 4" at front, 3" at rear. 315/70R17 tires, NO frame cutting. Very smooth, stable and flexible suspension.

It's more the width of the wheel well. It will rub the front bumper as well as the cab mount and fender liner. All will have to be trimmed/cut regardless

Which extended FOX coilovers did you have on your FJ? Were they the ones that BDS uses for their lift?
