-10s on my old Taco, they stuck out just a little bit but had a really nice stance I thought.

Have to say they did escalate the rubbing situation but other than that I liked them

I have no issue after removing front flaps and some minor trimming on the plastic.

Now if you hardcore wheel... well ya, you're gonna have some issues.

Yeah I ditched the front flaps. Sticking with 265/75R16 I didn't get to much elsewhere

I just wish the Level 8 MK6's were about 4lbs per rim lighter.

Stock suspension, 16x8 -10's with 265/75/16 Falken Wild Peak A/T3W's. Still haven't had the chance to put the TRD stickers on the center cap.

They weigh the same as the second gen OEM 16" alloy wheels.

I think Konig Countersteers might be a point or two lighter than the Level 8s, but I think if you're wanting an 17 lb wheel you'll be spending twice as much as these cost, if not more.

Sure. Just thinking with the Turd Gen 2.7L any weight savings is greatly noticed and needed when getting bigger tires.

    No doubt.

So.. my second gen 2.7 auto. Stock TRD alloys in 16" with stock 245/75/16 Dunlop highway treads got me 22/23 MPG average.

When I went to a P265/75/16 all terrain, it was a weight difference of something like 8 lbs per tire. Same TRD alloys. I dropped to 17-17.5 MPG average.

These wheels made no difference in economy, I had the 16x8 0 offsets.

Even with a lighter wheel, tire weight and diameter is a far bigger player in rotational mass.

On my 2010 Tacoma which was an Access Cab 4cyl 4x4 with the 5speed manual. I had these rims on with two sets of 265/75R16s. One was Standard Load Cooper ATps. Averaged around 20-21mpg (22once) one the highway doing 68-70mph. Around town was like 16-18mpg.
Second set was a LT E-Load Fierce MTs that would get me 19-20mpg (21randomly) on the highway. Around town was like 15-17mpg. Around town depended on how much stop and go and such. Truck never liked going over 70, but if I was 60-65 it would get in the 20s no problem.

The biggest notice I had was going to the LT rated tires, 4cyl knew they were there. But it still hauled and towed fine. Noticed revving longer and staying in gears longer going up hills and on ramps.

I wish I paid more attention in school but I think I understand what you are saying.

4lbs difference in wheel weight isn't that big of a deal.

Think I'm going to go with 24lb Method wheels and 46lb BFG KO's someday. 70lbs total per corner and that isn't too much different than stock. Hell the steelies I think weigh nearly 30lbs each.

@Discount Tire Direct do the 16x8 0 offset , have different face / depth than the -10 or is it done on back pad of the wheel?
